Summary

In the pursuit of acquiring certification as a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, had prior exposure to MongoDB to a certain extent. However, the depth of engagement with the platform at that juncture did not permit an exhaustive exploration of this NoSQL database. Additionally, leaning towards data engineering and architecture, as evidenced by previous studies and activities, has fueled the ambition to achieve Azure Data and DevOps Expert status—a significant milestone as next target, distinct from the pursuit of an optimal career opportunity which remains top priority.

During research, MongoDB University, a platform maintained by MongoDB Co., was identified for skill and expertise development in NoSQL/Document Model platform. Considering an associated fee for the Associate certificate, decision was made against taking the exam due to budget constraints and in consideration of existing knowledge, experience and certifications. Recently, completed MongoDB Developer learning path, successfully navigating through all unit-based multiple-choice questions and lab tests.

Considering broader experience in databases and newly acquired computer science knowledge, growing confidence is established in the ability to work effectively with MongoDB. Furthermore, commitment is expressed to completing even further learning path with an aspiration to attain MongoDB Expert status in the foreseeable future.
