Summary
First introduced to Azure when I worked as Brand Ambassador for Microsoft back in 2017, during one of the ambassador's development Seminars at Microsoft headquarter in Reading, UK. Worked with Azure at NHS Digital on some level; used the platform to host the website for Happy Fruit co., a self owned affiliate marketing company run for a little over a year in the midst of the pandemic to help get by, and as a measure to circumvent confinements restrictions, at which point I had developed a desire to gain expertise in cloud computing in general, and in particular the Azure platform. Due to some unfortunate circumstances beyond my control, Happy Fruit co had to be closed.However, to help with Azure development, kept the Azure account created for my former company; this helped get access to Azure resources at will, which in turn ultimately was crucial for labs and exams preparations over the years. Fast forward to five(5) years later, effort paid off! on 15th August 2022 I completed all requirements to become the first person to pass Microsoft Azure's "AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions" test at Taitec Manchester test center, to certify as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
As of today, earned a total of 246 badges and 40 trophies. (Microsoft issues trophies and badges to denote achieving new milestones. I renewed my certificate only 6 months after being awarded with the said certificate and I keep up with changes on the platform as much as I do with personal development in general.)

Azure, as one of the top three cloud platforms, necessitates a deep dive into multiple computing facets. Through this endeavor, I've cultivated advanced knowledge in IT operations, spanning networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance. My ability to manage decisions across these domains demonstrates a holistic approach to solution-building.
My experience encompasses Azure administration, development, and DevOps processes. From implementing and managing identity to governing storage, compute, and virtual networks in cloud environments, I've honed hands-on skills. Proficient in PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure portal, JSON & Bicep ARM templates, and languages like C, Python, C#, .Net, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Flask, Jinja, Bootstrap, SQL, and more.
These facets represent just a fraction of what I mastered on the journey to becoming a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
From a broader perspective, my proficiency extends beyond individual elements to a demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with diverse computing solutions.

Infrastructure As Code (IaC) - Bicep
Some examples of resource creation using IaC with Bicep, a Micosoft declarative language and a tool designed for Azure resource management.Bicep does for Azure virtually what Terraform is designed to do on other cloud platorms; as of today (27/12/23), it is optimised for and works only on Azure.

AZ-305 Certification - Test Day
With excitement immediately following test results, obviously impressed, test coordinator found a way to slip some statistics that made success even more meaningful.

On 15/08/2022, became first to certify as Azure Solutions Architect Expert at Taitec Manchester Test Center. Conversation indeed marks the moment that revealed that no other candidates had previously succeeded for this particular test at this particular center.
